Experience
I am a tutor who is passionate and knowledgeable about Spanish. I enjoy tutoring students in all levels of Spanish, whether they are a beginner or need help with more advanced aspects of the language. I'm also an ESL tutor with experience teaching English abroad. I have a degree in Criminology and Law Studies and Spanish from Marquette University. I studied abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico while I was a student at university. The time I spent there helped strengthen my Spanish. In college I was an ESL tutor and worked directly with the local Latino community. I also spent a year as an English tutor in South America through a program with WorldTeach. My experiences tutoring at home and abroad have provided me with the skills to help students with language. Language is my passion, and as a tutor I work to instill the value of language in the students I teach. I believe that learning a foreign language can be fun. Sports are another passion of mine, and when I'm not studying or teaching language, I'm outside being active. I also enjoy reading.
